Welcome to the Cooperative Library Wiki!

Introduction

This wiki presents a bibliography of literature on cooperatives, particularly literature that increases our understanding of cooperatives and their economic, social, political, and environmental benefits. Anyone may contribute new listings in this bibliography, and all are welcome to contribute abstracts of the literature. Because much of the literature on cooperatives is written for academic journals and an audience of academic researchers, abstracts must be written to be meaningful to a lay audience of cooperators, including practitioners, policy makers, and everyday cooperative members. We will moderate abstracts and suggest editing changes accordingly.

If you are interested in contributing to this wiki, please follow the procedures to request permission to contribute, and make sure you identify yourself and your interest in participating.

For those interested in teaching about cooperatives and related materials, please see the Curriculum on Cooperatives wiki.

For a list of downloadable articles on cooperatives, see Community-Wealth.org.

With warm greetings to all interested in cooperatives worldwide,

Molly Jane Burress, Ph.D.
